Thanks for reaching out and obtaining feedback. This purchase experience was rather disappointing. I literally felt like I was pushed into the deal, like these Buy here Pay here lots, I imagine. Was interested in a Range Rover, not because I need a ride, but because I need the financing to keep building my credit. We came from Germany last year and plan to make a life in America. Great country and great state, that's for sure. Back to the deal, I thought this Rangi is a good present for my wife as she loves the more bulkier model. Wanted to finance with a reputable dealer to safe myself the hassle with shady car sales folks. Here is what happened. Called MJ, the sales rep in your DS and agreed to purchase the car on Thursday 3 weeks ago. He said he can't hold it until I'm there actually buying it. Understood I said and agreed to come Friday to inspect, test drive and go back to Houston with the car. Said and done, so I thought. Told him that I pay down 3K to hold the vehicle so it's not sold to someone else. His manager insisted I drive 4hrs to check it out. Took half the day off, rented a one way rental and drove to your Dealership Friday from Houston. What a shock to find out that the vehicle was not only not ready to take home, I wasn't even allowed a test drive as the service guy told MJ the battery is empty and thats that. For crying out loud, I wasn't even allowed to fire it up and check electronics, radio, air suspension and so on. Who does this these days Guys? . What a disappointment. Not only did I have to come back empty handed to Houston, I spend 260 dollar for rental car, gas and food and 9hrs on the road for looking at a vehicle. It doesn't end here though - the car was eventually shipped to a Houston Auto nation dealer where I picked it up after all services were completed per the checklist. I drove right away to range rover shop a the car showed a error in the display, and I was told the car has communication failure in the air suspension, a D-Can failure in the entertainment system. The second key doesnt work and one tire had a major piece rubber torn out on the flank that I told MJ during the visit (he wrote it down)as I said, this is a safety item, it was not fixed. To be clear I read the service checklist and it stated, no codes present or sth like this. The car is in the shop now awaiting repair and tir replacement. probably $ 500 - $ 1500 bill. Thanks to you. The Leader Kelly Farley which is the GM asked for feedback and I wrote her my story, never got a response either, this dealership does not care about its clients. No thank You Kelly and Team!
